Fix your ‘.exe’ extension error
Many of you might have experienced an error which is caused when you play with file types. I call it ‘.exe’ extension error.
Once, tried to create a new file format as ‘.exe’ but then the old settings of my System’s executable file format were replaced by new unknown settings.
Then the problem was that my computer didn’t know how to open/what should be used to open an executable file.
But now, I’ll show you how to restore it back!
Ofcourse, anyone who has seen his error for the first time will go for ‘System Restore’ but you’ll figure out that ‘System Restore’ is an exe file and you can’t open it.
Don’t panic. Just follow my instructions and you should go well again.
There are 2 ways to do this:
- Either you have to go to the registry editor and edit it manually
OR
- You can download a file which is programmed to automatically edit the registry with just a click!
For beginners, I suggest you use the file. Don’t worry if you don’t know where to get the file because I’ve already uploaded it and the download link can be found at the bottom of this post.
I didn’t create that file, I just downloaded it from some other website when I had the error.

Just copy and paste this link onto your browser’s address bar.
Once you have downloaded it, just run it by double-clicking.
Then it should prompt you with a message:
‘Do you want to add the information to the registry?’
-Click ‘YES’
Now it’ll say ‘You have successfully added the information to the registry’
After that, restart your computer and your executable[exe] files should work just fine!

Any idea why your site is loading so slow?
The host file is empty by default. To make itback to normal just delete anything in it. All that the host file does is override a DNS lookup for the specific hosts listed, by deleting an entry it asks the DNS for the address.
