Sorry that I havn’t been able to post anything lately. I’ve been really busy. Today, I’ll write a post on how to get your system administrator’s password and how to change it.

Before we begin, I want to warn you that this post is for educational purposes only and should not be attempted at any cause!

First of all, this hack works only if the system has 2 or more users including the admin.

Secondly, you should be able to gain access to any of the user accounts. If all the accounts are password protected, then there is nothing you can do.

Okay then Let’s Begin:

You must be wondering why I have posted something so simple which involves just a click or two. Yes, this can be done with a few clicks in most cases. But just try to change the location of MyMusic or MyVideos by just cutting and pasting; If you have done that you might have understood that it doesn’t work! So today I’ll be sharing with all my readers, how to change the location of such folders.

This process involves editing your Registry so I suggest that you create a System Restore point before you continue.

Follow then given instructions as is is and you should be able to do this without any errors.

Steps:

1. Choose ‘Run’ from the start menu and type ‘regedit’ without the quotes
2. Start Regedit
3. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
4. Double click on any locations you want to change and alter the path
5. Logoff or restart for the changes to go into effect

There are lots of ways by which you can make your PC run faster. But some of it requires having an application to do so. Today, I’ll discuss the basic things which can be done to increase your system’s speed with or without apps .

1. Removing Unnecessary Applictaions

This is one of the most common methods of speeding up your PC. I recommend that you check your control panel atleast once a month to see all the applications that you have installed. And if you think that there are applications which you haven’t used for a long time, then you can just delete it by clicking on the remove button next to the name of the app.

2. Turning Off Unnecessary Applications

In the above method I mentioned removing apps which you don’t want. But if there are apps which you don’t want to use now but which you want to keep, then I suggest that you don’t remove them but instead turn the off. For example at the bottom right side of your task bar you can find a lot of icons. Such as ‘Sound Effects’. Now, If you are going to browse the internet, you won’t need any sound effects do you? So you can just exit that application by right-clicking it and then choosing exit. This way you can turn-off anymore unwanted apps. Don’t worry, the next time you start your computer, these exited apps will again start working!
